Two from Robbins facing drug charges

Michael Sink and Cyrah Gooch are each facing three drug charges after a home was searched, and deputies seized methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

“On September 24th, 2021, Deputies with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office assisted Moore County Probation/Parole with the search of a residence in the 100 block of North Rockingham Street in Robbins,” said Moore County Sheriff’s Department in a news advisory. 

Sink, 28, and Gooch, 20, both from Robbins, were each charged with possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substances, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sink’s secured bond was set at $7,500, and Gooch was placed under a $5,000 unsecured bond.

Both suspects are expected in court on Oct 6 and are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
