An unconscious driver was discovered at an Aberdeen intersection and was apprehended on drug charges on Tuesday, according to the Aberdeen Police Department.
Thirty-seven-year-old Heather Tucker, of Laurel Hill, was jailed without bond and is facing charges of felony possession of Schedule I controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving while license revoked.
Tucker was allegedly unconscious in her car and was found by Aberdeen Police officers at the intersection of Highway 1 and Highway 15-501 S, according to the Aberdeen Police Department. She was the only occupant of the vehicle.
“Officers spoke with Tucker and continued to investigate the call,” said Aberdeen Police Chief Brian Chavis in a news advisory. “Officers located various drugs and drug paraphernalia in plain view, within the vehicle.”
Tucker is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.Â
