The Village of Whispering Pines is seeking input on a proposed veterans memorial.
The village is considering creating a memorial with possibly two sides for the military and for first responders and medical personnel working the pandemic. Symbols would only be on the memorial. Village council said no names would be listed.
The idea came to the board members from a resident who constructed one in the past funded by donations.
Village council would like public input before discussing further.
Survey will close at 2 p.m. on Friday, August 20.
