Two individuals were arrested for drug and weapons violations following the execution of a search warrant in West End on June 22, 2017, according to a news release from Moore County Sheriff’s Office.
The release stated that during the search of the residence at 122 Sugar Hill Lane, deputies seized: an SKS (Samozaryadnyj Karabin System) rifle, an assault rifle, two semi-automatic pistols, assorted ammunition, 28 grams of marijuana, 15 dosage units of Clonazepam, a schedule IV controlled-substance, digital scales and plastic baggies. Total street value of seized drugs is approximately $1,800.00.
Deputies with Moore County Sheriff’s Office arrested Shaquan Marice Legrand, 22, and Keandre Baretta Legrand,17. Both men were charged with: four counts of the possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, the possession with the intent to sell and deliver marijuana, felony maintaining a vehicle for the storage of a controlled substance and the possession of drug paraphernalia, according to Sheriff, Neil Godfrey.Â
Shaquan Legrand was placed in the Moore County Detention Center and given a $350,000, and Keandre Legrand was placed in the Moore County Detention Center and given a $50,000 secured bond secured bond. Â Both men have a July 11, 2017 District Court date.
