A collision between an older Ford F-150 pick-up truck and a GMC Denali SUV snarled traffic in front of a popular fast-food restaurant in Southern Pines Thursday just before 1 p.m.
The accident occurred in front of Chick-Fil-A and Pinehurst Hyundai on US 15-501.
The truck was blocking the right traffic lane and suffered front end damage, and the SUV was off the road wedged in a clump of trees and the entrance sign to the car dealership.
According to Southern Pines Police, at least one driver was transported to the hospital with injuries not thought to be life-threatening.
Southern Pines Police, Southern Pines Fire & Rescue and Moore County EMS responded to the incident.
