Authorities are searching for a missing child who was abducted from a Bladen County daycare Monday.

Four-month-old Lounnisha Renee Askew was taken by her non-custodial mother Juanita Renee Askew, according to a news release from the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office.

Lounnisha is a black female, approximately 20 inches tall, weighing 14 pounds. She has black hair, and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a green onesie with pink circle designs and black socks. Due to a birth defect, she needs special foods and care. The child has a scar on her abdomen, a cyst over her right eye, and a red birthmark on the back of her head.

Juanita Renee Askew, of Whiteville, is described as 22 years old, black female, 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 196 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black and white T-Shirt with black leggings. The mother is considered dangerous, displays abrupt mood swings, and has violent tendencies.

The vehicle the mother was last seen in is a black 2011 Chevrolet Cruz LT with NC license tag number FLN-1228.
