Bradshaw Performing Arts Center (BPAC) at Sandhills Community College has announced the 2024-2025 Comedy Series, featuring a stellar selection of nationally touring comedians sure to tickle your funny bone. All shows are at 7 p.m. in BPAC’s Owens Auditorium.
Series Kick-off with Viral Star Becky Robinson
The series kicks off on Friday, September 6, when Becky Robinson’s “She Gone” tour stops at BPAC. Having taken the internet by storm with her viral character, the “Entitled Housewife,” Becky’s explosively funny antics and videos have garnered millions of views and fans across social media. The multi-talented Los Angeles-based entertainer’s resume includes appearances on Netflix, MTV’s Wild ’N Out, and Comedy Central’s Not Safe. YouTube Channel
Lineup of Laughs Continues Throughout the Season
The comedy continues throughout the season with an exciting range of performers:
Mike Goodwin (October 4), considered one of the brightest minds in comedy, brings his “Big Dad Energy” tour and refreshingly funny show to BPAC.
Joe DeVito (February 27), a favorite on Fox News Channel’s Gutfeld!, returns to BPAC with his sharp wit and observational humor.
David Anthony (May 5) is the series finale, with his unique brand of comedy hypnosis that invites audience members to participate in an unforgettable interactive show.

“BPAC was dedicated in 2019, and Becky Robinson’s razor-sharp gallery of recognizable characters are the perfect choice to start our fifth anniversary year. We’re confident everyone will find something to enjoy in Mike Goodwin’s hilarious take on everyday life. We’ve long been looking for a comedy hypnotist, and when we found David Anthony we knew we had to book him posthaste. And of course, Joe DeVito was such a hit we went ahead and asked him back when he was standing in the lobby after his triumphant show here in January 2023,” says Morgan Sills, Executive Director of BPAC. “Laughter is universal, and the Comedy Series offers something for everyone.”

Becky Robinson is an LA-based comedian, writer, actor and voice-over star best known as the “Entitled Housewife.” The outspoken viral golf character Becky created co-starred in the two virtual comedy variety specials she self-produced to help spread laughter during the year long pandemic. Becky’s explosively unique character antics and viral videos have racked up millions of views and fans across social media.
Becky can and does truly do it all! Her new original song ‘Mama Needs a Claw’ is the anthem of the Summer and is now being played all over the radio.
In addition to touring internationally as a stand-up comedian, Becky was named a JFL Montreal New Face of Comedy where her stand out multi-character performance landed her a sketch show development deal and a number of voiceover jobs with DreamWorks, Nickelodeon and Netflix. In 2016, Becky was cast on MTV’s Wild ’N Out with Nick Cannon, where she also put out a Wild ’N Out Stand Up Special. Currently, Becky voices “Parker J. Cloud,” an exuberant former rain cloud on a mission to brighten up everyone’s day, in Nickelodeon’s all-new animated series Middlemost Post.
