A Moore County man was arrested Tuesday after deputies say a search in West End turned up suspected cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
In a press release, the Moore County Sheriff’s Office said detectives executed a warrant Sept. 23 in the 600 block of N.C. Highway 73. The search led to the arrest of Kelvin Alston, 59, of West End.
Alston is facing charges of felony possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked into the Moore County Detention Center on a 48-hour hold without bond.
He is scheduled to appear in Moore County District Court on Oct. 9.
All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
