NCDHHS releases plan, dashboard updates for next phase of COVID-19 resp

The Moore County Health Department has reported another death related to COVID-19. There are now three deaths reported in the county.

The Moore County Health Department’s COVID-19 Dashboard has the person’s death recorded on April 13. The dashboard has the previous two deaths recorded on April 6.

“To protect privacy, no further information about the individuals who have tested positive will be shared by the Health Department,” said the county health department.

Currently, there are 85 cases in Moore County with 45 patients being 65 years or older. There is an outbreak at Pinehurst Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center on Blake Boulevard. As of Thursday, they had 45 residents test positive and eight employees.

Statewide, there are 5,024 confirmed cases with 108 deaths.

According to Johns Hopkins, 44,319 people have recovered from COVID-19 nationwide.
