An altercation between two individuals resulted in a car accident on Sunday evening, August 6th.
L.B. Horne Jr, was involved in a domestic dispute with an individual which then turned into Horne chasing the victim of a camouflage Dodge Dakota and ramming the Dakota of the road with his truck. The Dakota flipped over into woods in the 600 block of Youngs Road near Vass.
Horne, age 52, from Lakeview, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon, according to Moore County Sheriff’s Office.
The victim had minor injuries from the accident.
The Moore County Sheriff’s Office, Cypress Pointe Fire and Rescue, and the North Carolina State Highway Patrol responded to the scene.
