Eagle Springs man charged after drug search

An Eagle Springs man is facing charges after deputies reportedly found suspected cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine, marijuana, firearms, and more than $3,000 in cash, according to the Moore County Sheriff’s Office.

Detectives executed a warrant in the 100 block of Eaglewood Lane on Sept. 18. Investigators said the search led to the arrest of Allen Martin, 38.

Martin is facing charges of trafficking in opium or heroin by possession, possession with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule II controlled substance, felony possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, felony possession of cocaine, trafficking in methamphetamine by possession, possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, manufacture of marijuana, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, felony possession of marijuana, maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for controlled substances, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He is being held at the Moore County Detention Center under a $170,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Moore County District Court on Oct. 2.

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
