After receiving a report of a community maintenance shed being broken into on Monday, Moore County Sheriff’s Department arrested a local man.

Kenneth Allen Sheffield, 34, of Jackson Springs, was charged Thursday with one count of felony breaking and entering, one count of felony larceny after breaking and entering, and one count of felony possession of stolen goods, said a news release from Moore County Sheriff’s Office.

The maintenance building is located in the Beacon Ridge area of Seven Lakes. Detectives recovered the stolen property.

The suspect was jailed under a $10,000 secured bond and is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
