Man facing drug charges after driving left of centerline

According to a news advisory from Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields, a Fayetteville man is facing several drug charges after being pulled over in Vass for allegedly driving left of centerline.

“On September 11, 2023, Detectives with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office initiated a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Lobelia Road in Vass,” said Fields. “Detectives initiated the traffic stop due to the vehicle driving left of the center line. During the traffic stop, Detectives conducted a search of the vehicle. As a result of the search, methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana, items of drug paraphernalia, and items of marijuana paraphernalia were located.”

Jedadiah Rawlings, 36, was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of cocaine, possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, felony possession of marijuana, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, and driving left of center.

He was jailed at Moore County Detention Center under a $75,000 secured bond, is due in court on Sept. 28, and is presumed innocent until proven guilty.Â
