Meet Jasper, a sweet boy rescued by Unchaining Moore Dogs who has endured so much in the past few weeks. Despite these adversities, however, he has remained a sweet boy and is searching for a foster or forever home!
Jasper, a stray from Moore County, has recently undergone surgery and is now a three-legged dog. He is receiving laser therapy for a neck wound and is currently on multiple medications. Unfortunately, his foster home has fallen through, leaving him in need of a temporary place to stay as he continues his recovery at the vet’s office.
Despite everything he’s been through, Jasper has remained a sweet and gentle dog, clearly grateful for the care he’s receiving. Unchaining Moore Dogs is urgently seeking a compassionate foster home for this loving German Shepherd-Pit Bull mix, who is only three years old and heartworm-negative.
His missing leg is a hind leg, so once he’s healed, his mobility shouldn’t be an issue.
Unchaining Moore Dogs stepped in to save Jasper from being sent to the shelter, where he likely would have been euthanized.
