Meth, stolen firearm seized from home in Robbins

After obtaining a search warrant for a home in Robbins, detectives with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office seized suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, Suboxone, untaxed liquor, and a stolen firearm.

The search occurred on July 2 in the 1300 block of Lakey Siding Road and resulted in the arrest of a resident of the home, said the Moore County Sheriff in a press release on July 7.

Sixty-seven-year-old Michael Davis was booked at the Moore County Detention Center shortly after 6 p.m. under a $125,000 secured bond. 

He is facing seven charges, including possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle, dwelling, or place for a controlled substance, possession of a Schedule III controlled substance, possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance, possession of nontax-paid alcohol, possession of a stolen firearm, and possession of a firearm by a felon.

The suspect is due in court on July 23.
