Dirce Prighel Passaglia, age 98, of Vass (Wood Lake), passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at her home, with her loving family by her side.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 6:00 pm at Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
Dirce was born in Italy on February 21, 1924 to the late Giulio and Assunta Prighel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Evo Joseph Passaglia, sister, Anita Ognibeni, and brother, Renzo Prighel.
Dirce enjoyed reading, knitting and love her wine at dinner and a good cold beer in the summer. She had a green thumb and enjoyed raising African Violets and Lavender. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her children, Starleen Marchel (Dave) of Vass, Danny Passaglia (Teresa) of Florida; grandchildren, Christopher (Goldi), Mikki (Britt); great-grandchildren, Nikol, Lia, Nina, Olivia and Kate.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dirce Prighel may be made to St Jude Children’s Hospital.
