Obituary for James P. Rozanski of Pinehurst

James P. Rozanski, aged 83, of Buffalo, NY, peacefully passed away in the comfort of his Pinehurst, North Carolina residence on August 20th. He was surrounded by his devoted wife, two daughters, and son. Born on November 14, 1939, James (Jim) spent his formative years in the Buffalo region. Following his service in the US Army, he embarked on a career as a New York State Trooper, ascending to the esteemed rank of Zone Sergeant. After three decades of dedicated service, he retired, eventually relocating to Pinehurst, NC, alongside his cherished wife, Patricia (Smith).

Jim had an array of passions that included fishing, hunting, gardening, golfing, and being an avid supporter of the Buffalo Bills. However, his greatest joy was found in the company of his beloved wife Pat, his three children, six granddaughters, and his canine companions, Beau and Mickey.

He is survived by his wife Patricia (Smith), his daughters Karen (Guy Martz) and Kathleen, his son Daniel (Michelle), and his six cherished grandchildren: Mackenzie, Hailey, Julianna, Hannah, Bethany, and Emily. James was preceded in death by his father Stanley, mother Lillian, and his brothers Gerald and Thomas.

All friends and family are welcome to attend a memorial service on September 9th from 9am to 12pm with an honorary ceremony starting at 11:30am at Amigone Funeral Home, 8440 Main Street, Williamsville, NY .
