Juanita Scarboro, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away on January 11, 2026 at FirstHealth in Pinehurst. She was born in October 1946 in West Virginia. Juanita was 79 years old at the time of her passing, leaving behind a life of commitment to her family.
She is survived by her husband, James “Chester” Scarboro, her children, Stevie Scarboro, James L. Scarboro (Teresa), and Eva Newton (Jeff); three grandchildren, JT Scarboro, Katie King, and Jeremy Newton; and two great grandchildren, Masyn and Blakelynn King.
Juanita requested that no services be held. Her wish was that everyone remembered her in their own special way. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
