Patricia Daughtry Shockley, age 70, died Thursday, November 22, 2018 at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst.
A celebration of life service will be conducted at 3:00 PM Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Community Congregational Church with Rev. Mike Dubbs officiating. Burial will be private at Bethesda Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Boles Funeral Home in Southern Pines.
Pat was the daughter of the late Garland and Edna Daughtry. She was a graduate of East Southern Pines High School. She attended Sandhills Community College and graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in art. Pat taught special education in Moore County Schools for 31 years. She was a long time active member of the Eastern Star. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter Shelley Leigh Tuttle.
She is survived by her husband, William A. “Bill” Shockley, her son, Brent Edward Shockley of Southern Pines, her sister, Elizabeth Daughtry West (Lee) of Wilmington, her brothers, William Frederick Daughtry (Payao) of Greensboro, and John Gregory Daughtry of New Bern, and 7 nieces and nephews.

Services have been entrusted to Boles Funeral Home of Southern Pines.
