Dr. George Mason Cadwell, Jr., age 79, passed away on February 22, 2018.
He was born in June 7, 1938 in Hastings-on-Hudson, NY to the late George Mason Cadwell, Sr. and Dorothy Kamerer Cadwell.
He served as an officer in the US Navy, earned a doctorate and worked as an environmental engineer. He was an gifted horseman and a close friend to many. He loved life and lived it to the fullest, loving his family and his country.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jennifer Ullrich Cadwell; daughters, Keady Cadwell of Southern Pines, Miranda Cadwell of Southern Pines, and Dorothy Susan Cadwell of California; as well as many other loving family and friends.
