Pinebluff man charged with murdering his uncle

A Pinebluff man is accused of murdering his uncle, according to information from the Moore County Sheriff’s Department.

Tyheem Allbrooks was jailed without bond at the Moore County Detention Center and is also facing a charge of possession of a stolen firearm.

Authorities responded to a home in the 100 block of Jeans Loop Road in Pinebluff shortly after 4 a.m. on Sunday, April 16.

“Upon arrival, Deputies located the victim, Gregory Savalas Allbrooks, 43, who had been shot multiple times,” said Sheriff Ronnie Fields in a press release. “Allbrooks was later pronounced dead at First Health Moore Regional Hospital. Investigators determined that Gregory Allbrooks had been shot by his nephew, Tyheem Alzia Allbrooks, 23, of the same residence.”

Allbrooks is due in court on April 26 and is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
