UPDATE: Damek Locklear has been arrested.
The Aberdeen Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Saturday. According to a press release, the crime happened at 7:30 p.m. in the area of Meredith Street and Keyser Street.
A male victim was allegedly robbed of his property while his life was threatened by two suspects with a handgun and assault rifle, according to the press release.
The police department is searching for Damek Locklear, 19, and Jai’don Hines, 18, who are wanted on charges of robbery with a dangerous weapon, larceny of a firearm and felony conspiracy to commit robbery.
