Sheriff announces arrest after vehicle stop in Robbins

A 64-year-old man from Robbins is facing several drug charges after being arrested on Wednesday, according to a news statement from Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields.

“On June 29, 2022, Deputies with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office initiated a traffic stop in the 3400 block of NC Highway 705 in Robbins,” said Fields. “During the traffic stop, Deputies conducted a search of the vehicle. As a result of the search, Deputies located methamphetamine and items of drug paraphernalia.”

Arrested was Roger Woodle. He was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule II controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving while license revoked.

He was placed at the Moore County Detention Center under a $7,500 secured bond, is due in court on July 13 and is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
