Two arrested after drug investigation in Pinebluff

Marshallrett Ross and Tiahja McKoy, both of Pinebluff, are facing drug charges following an investigation by the Moore County Sheriff’s Department.

A search warrant was issued in the 100 block of Morgan Lane in Pinebluff on Wednesday, Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields said.

“During the search, Deputies located heroin, cocaine, marijuana, firearms, items of drug paraphernalia, and items of marijuana paraphernalia,” said Fields in a news advisory.

Ross, 32, was placed at the Moore County Detention Center under a $200,000 secured bond for charges of trafficking opium or heroin, possession with intent to sell and deliver heroin, possession of heroin, possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, felony possession of cocaine, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substances, possess marijuana greater than ½ ounce to 1 ½ ounce, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, six counts of possession of firearm by felon, possess weapon of mass destruction.

McKoy, 27, was charged with possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bond was a written promise. 

Both suspects are due in court on July 14 and are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
