A portion of 211 was closed after a car flipped on the highway Monday night. The wreck occurred near Archie Road in West End.
The 911 call center received a crash notification around 7 p.m.
A young woman was trapped in the vehicle. A medical helicopter was called for the rollover wreck, but the call was later canceled.
Both North West lanes were closed for a while, causing traffic to back up. One motorist said she sat in traffic for over 55 minutes while emergency responders worked the crash scene.
Fire departments that responded to the crash were West End and Pinehurst.
