A man from Vass was arrested for breaking and entering and was placed in the Moore County Detention Center under a $10,000 secured bond.
Moore County Deputies arrested John Coy Phelps, 28, on Tuesday morning, according to a news release from Sheriff Godfrey.
Phelps was charged with one count of breaking and entering, one count of felony larceny after breaking and entering and one count of felony possession of stolen goods.
According to arrest records, Phelps is due in court on February 2nd.
All defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
