$20M bond for man arrested on 332 child sex charges

A 30-year-old Raeford man is behind bars on a $20 million bond for 332 child sex crime charges, according to a statement from Hoke County Sheriff Hubert Peterkin.

Hoke County Detectives were called to Fairfield Circle in Raeford on August 7 for a reported juvenile sexual assault.

Peterkin said 156 arrest warrants were obtained for Joshuah Bradshaw.  After Bradshaw fled the state, he was captured in Etta, Mississippi by the FBI.

Over 100 female and male juvenile victims have been identified with the youngest victim being 5 years old, added Peterkin.

The suspect was extradited to Raeford and charged with 12 counts of statutory sexual offense with a child by an adult, 12 counts of taking indecent liberties with children, 12 counts of crime against nature, 12 counts of first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, 144 counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, and 144 counts of third-degree of sexual exploitation of a minor.

“The investigation is still on-going with additional charges pending,” said Peterkin.

Bradshaw has a court date on September 21 and is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
