Aberdeen man arrested after ecstasy, marijuana found

Deputies arrested an Aberdeen man Wednesday after reportedly finding suspected ecstasy, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and more than $1,600 in cash during a search.

 According to the Moore County Sheriff’s Office, detectives executed a warrant on Sept. 24 in the 100 block of Guybo Street and arrested Leo Hill, 39.

Hill is facing charges of felony possession of a Schedule I controlled substance, maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for a controlled substance, simple possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was booked into the Moore County Detention Center under a $35,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Moore County District Court on Oct. 1.

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
