Pinehurst Spring Matinee Races were held Saturday at the historic Pinehurst Harness Track.
The day turned out absolutely beautiful as the horses took the field and the crowds turned out.
For over 100 years, Pinehurst has been the scene of horse racing and Saturday more history was made.
The annual event is presented by the Pinehurst Parks and Recreation Department and the Pinehurst Driving and Training Club.
