~Received quarterly fiscal report for Sandhills Center for Mental Health/Developmental Disabilities/Substance Abuse Services.
~Proclaimed September 2018 as National Recovery Month.
~Approved on consent agenda: minutes, tax releases/refunds, budget amendments, digital learning invoices for Moore County Schools, amended Transportation Advisory Board bylaws, EMS Management & Consultants contract amendment, deed of dedication for Pinehurst Brewery, addition of a portion of Grandpap Road to the state maintenance system, travel reimbursement to Commissioner Gregory.
~ Held a public hearing and approved a Conditional Use Permit for a school located on the same lot as a church located at 1305 Hulsey Road, Carthage, owned by New Covenant Fellowship of Carthage.
~ Approved sole source purchase of iRecord Universe IP Turnkey video recording system from Edge One Solutions, Inc. for Sheriff’s Office, to be paid with funds from drug forfeiture account.
~ Approved contract amendment with Golder Associates NC, Inc. for consulting services on environmental compliance and reporting matters related to the two landfills owned and operated by Moore County.
~ Approved partial release of easement for encroachment at Lot 24 in CCNC.
~ Approved contract amendment with Ilderton Dodge Chrysler Jeep to extend the delivery date of three Dodge 5500 trucks.
~ Adopted resolution declaring intent to reimburse expenditures under United States Department of Treasury Regulations for North Moore High School project.
~ Adopted resolution requesting the NC General Assembly to modify the allowed allocations for the Needs Based Public School Capital Fund lottery dollars to allow Tier 3 counties to participate if certain criteria are satisfied.
~Appointed Keith Cameron as an ETJ member of the Town of Cameron Planning Board.
