A crash involving a dump truck and a passenger vehicle caused traffic delays in Pinebluff on Tuesday evening. The crash happened in front of Nic’s Pic Kwik on U.S. Highway 1 and took nearly an hour to clear.
According to authorities on scene, the collision occurred around 5 p.m. when a passenger car reportedly pulled out in front of an oncoming dump truck, leading to a collision that blocked lanes and resulted in traffic being rerouted.
The scene is under investigation, and no further details regarding the cause of the collision or the condition of the occupants of the vehicles were released on scene.
Emergency crews responded quickly to remove the vehicle from the roadway and clear debris.Â
