Crews with Cypress Pointe Fire and Rescue contained a fire from spreading in a cemetery on Wednesday.
Cypress Pointe Fire and Rescue announced on its Facebook page that they were called to a vehicle fire in the area of Red Hill Road and Gilchrist Road in Cameron shortly after 5 p.m.
Initially, the fire was hard to locate, but it was soon determined to be on Gilchrist Road in a cemetery.
“When Engine 221 arrived, they reported a lawn mower was on fire; the fire was quickly brought under control without further spread of the fire,” reported the fire department.
It was not reported how the mower caught on fire.
