Drivers avoid serious injury in Pinebluff collision

No serious injuries were reported in a crash at the intersection of U.S. 1 and Addor Road in Pinebluff Saturday evening around 6:30 p.m. This intersection has been the scene of several crashes in the past.

According to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, a Toyota SUV was heading northbound on U.S. 1 when the driver of a Honda Civic pulled out into the path of the Toyota. The SUV struck the Honda Civic and drove over the front portion of the Civic. The SUV then came to a stop off the left-hand side of the road.

The driver and passengers of the Toyota SUV were evaluated by EMS and transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Honda was uninjured.

The N.C. State Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.

Pinebluff Fire & Rescue, Aberdeen Fire & Rescue, Moore County EMS, Pinebluff Police Department, and the N.C. State Highway Patrol responded to the accident.
