A head-on collision Saturday shut down a road and injured both drivers. Emergency units were dispatched around 2 p.m. to the accident in the 1800 block of Lakebay Road near Vass.
Fire units arrived on the scene to a Toyota Camry in the middle of the road and a Chevrolet Equinox just off the roadway. Both vehicles had suffered heavy front-end damage.
The female driver of each vehicle was the only occupant and was transported to Moore Regional Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Lakebay Road was shut down for about an hour while crews worked the scene, and the vehicles were removed.
Highway Patrol was on the scene investigating the crash.
