A 65-year-old woman is facing five drug charges after a search warrant was served at a home in the 500 block of Possum Holler Road in Eagle Springs on Wednesday.
Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields said in a Thursday press release that detectives seized suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, codeine, and drug paraphernalia during the search.
Heather Locklear, of Eagle Springs, was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance, possession of a Schedule III controlled substance, possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Locklear was placed under a 48-hour hold without bond and is scheduled to appear in court on July 22.
No other details were released.
All defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
