On Tuesday morning around 9 a.m., a minivan traveling on Plank Road went off the right side of the road, taking out the guardrail and coming to rest against some trees in the embankment next to Buffalo Creek in Robbins.
According to authorities, the single female occupant of the Pacifica Monarch Group Home van was taken to Moore Regional Hospital to be checked out for non-life-threatening injuries.
The minivan took on extensive damage to the driver’s side, and air bags were deployed. The guardrail was peeled back approximately 20-30 feet.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the single-vehicle wreck.
