Hundreds of people gathered in Pinehurst for a vigil in honor of Charlie Kirk.
The One Voice Vigil was held at Tufts Memorial Park in downtown on Sunday from 5 – 6 p.m.

The conservative activist cofounded Turning Point USA. He was fatally shot on Sept. 10 while speaking at Utah Valley University.
The Union Pines Junior ROTC presented the colors at the prayer vigil.

Local dignitaries were on hand for the memorial, including N.C. Rep. Neal Jackson, N.C. Rep. Tom McInnis, N.C. Rep. Ben Moss, U.S. Rep. Richard Hudson, and Pinehurst Village Chapel Pastor Ashley Smith.
