Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields said a man was arrested after a stolen vehicle was found in another county.
The investigation began on March 30 after the sheriff’s office received a report of a stolen vehicle from a home in Southern Pines.
Fields said investigators found the car in another county at the beginning of May. The county in which the vehicle was recovered was not provided.
Brandon Bowers, 40, of Raeford, was arrested on May 8 and charged with felony breaking or entering, larceny of a motor vehicle, possession of stolen property, obtaining property by false pretense, and habitual felon.
His bond was set at $10,000. He has a court date on May 10 and is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
