James Medlin, age 63, of Linwood, formerly of Cameron, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2025, at Hospice of Davidson County in Lexington, North Carolina.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025 at 6 p.m. at Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
James was born in Moore County on November 30, 1961 to the late John Curtis Medlin and Frances Lane Medlin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Victoria Blackburn Medlin, sisters, Doris Horner, Pat Kennedy, brothers, Frank, Ray and J.C Medlin.
He enjoyed going fishing, playing cards and spending time with his family. He was a loving father, brother, uncle and friend and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his children, Amber Medlin Glover (Michael) of Eagle Springs, Mel Medlin of Linwood; sisters, Elaine Hardy of Cameron, Judy Blue (J.D.) of Carthage
