John Archie Blue, age 56, of Carthage, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2026.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. at Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Chris McNeill officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
John was born in Pinehurst, North Carolina, to J.D. Blue and Judith Medlin Blue.
He was an avid N.C. State and NASCAR fan. John loved spending time with his family. He also liked spending quiet time on the farm with his Lord and Savior.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Makayla Blue of Australia; sisters, Heather Phillips (Todd) of Carthage, Wendy Truitt (Lynn) of Southern Pines, and several nieces and nephews and his furry friend Beauty.
