Moore County will participate in Operation Green Light for Veterans throughout November, encouraging residents to shine green lights to show appreciation and support for military veterans.
From Nov. 1-30, community members can take part by displaying green lights, sharing resources, and helping raise awareness of the support available to veterans.
Operation Green Light is a nationwide initiative that encourages communities to shine green lights in public spaces and at homes and businesses to recognize veterans and show support for their service. The campaign also aims to raise awareness of the challenges veterans may face and connect them with available resources and services.
