First responders were called to a traffic accident just after 3 p.m. Tuesday after responding three hours earlier to another accident just a few miles away.
Crain Creek Fire and Rescue, Moore County EMS, and North Carolina State Highway Patrol responded to the intersection of Marks Road and McPherson Road in Cameron for a two-vehicle accident.
A truck and passenger car collided. The car suffered rear-end damage. There were no injuries reported. The cause of the accident is being investigated.

The same crews were dispatched to a single-vehicle accident that occurred at noon. The car crash occurred at Marks Road and Lillian Drive.
First responders arrived on scene to find an SUV off the road with the occupant out of the vehicle.
The driver had no obvious injuries on scene other than shoulder pain.
