Moore Philharmonic Orchestra's 'America, Cinema & Symphony' - May 16

The Moore Philharmonic Orchestra will present its spring concert, America, Cinema & Symphony, on May 16. In celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, the program will highlight patriotic and cinematic selections performed by Moore County’s only volunteer symphony orchestra.

For 21 years, the orchestra has featured both adult and student musicians, and is the county’s only volunteer symphony orchestra. The performance will take place at the Pinecrest High School R.E. Lee Auditorium.

Date: Saturday, May 16
Lobby Opens: 6 p.m.
Seating Begins: 6:30 p.m.
Concert Begins: 7 p.m.

Admission is free with a donation of choice. Contributions support the orchestra’s mission and ongoing programming.

The project is supported by the North Carolina Arts Council, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, through a grassroots grant.
