Walk-Through Viewing: Friday, November 24, 2017, 4-6 PM, Simon Funeral Home chapel, Southern Pines.
Burial: Pinelawn Memorial Park, Southern Pines.
Bishop Payton served in the United States Army, and he was the Senior Pastor of the Christian Victory Center in Southern Pines.
Survivors: Wife, Minnie Payton; children, Laretha Payton, Luretha McAllister, Leroy Payton, Jr. (Linette), Delicia Watkins (Scott), and Antonio Payton; brother, Kelvin Jackson; sister, Mary Broadnax; eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and other relatives.
