Mrs. Barbara Nelson McKethan, 87, of Southern Pines, NC, died Friday, June 14, 2019, at FirstHealth/Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst.
Service: Friday, June 21, 2019, 4:00 PM, Trinity AME Zion Church, 972 West Pennsylvania Avenue, Southern Pines.
No public viewing will be held.
Interment: Woodlawn Cemetery, Southern Pines.
Mrs. McKethan was a longtime member of Saint James Lutheran Church, where she faithfully served as the organist, and was the director of the preschool and kindergarten programs. She was also a piano teacher for thirty-five years.
Survivors: Sisters, Sondra Nelson and Gerald Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
