Charles “Roger” Beal, age 83, of Vass, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 24, 2026, at Sanford Health & Rehab Nursing Home in Sanford.
Roger was born in Sanford, North Carolina, on August 12, 1942, to the late Duffy Charles Beal and Vera Stutts Beal. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Beal.
He is survived by his son, Charles Marcus “Marc” Beal of Vass; daughter, Maria Nicole Tucker of Marshville, NC; grandchildren, Kayla, Christopher, Madison, Megan, Joshua; great-grandchildren, Analeigh, Jericho.
Roger proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend and will be greatly missed.
