Dean Paul Austin, age 83, passed away on Monday, June 18th, 2018 at the FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital. He was born on June 5th, 1935 in Waukesha, Wisconsin. He served in the US Army during the 1950’s in the Korean War in Germany.
Dean resided in Whispering Pines, NC since 2011. An avid entrepreneur he did everything from accounting for large businesses to owning and operating a roof and painting business.
Dean is survived by his significant other Arlene Jenkins; daughters Debra Kuebler and Dawn Austin; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Geraldine Sanders.
Dean had a full life. He enjoyed cards, theatre, and traveling. He will be missed by all.
