Obituary for H. Donald Bryant

On Tuesday, September 23, 2025, H. Donald “Don” Bryant of Penick Village went home to his Lord and Savior. He was born January 28, 1934 in Olean, NY, the eldest son of Harry and Lucile Bryant.

Don graduated from Olean High School and went on to Miami University graduating in 1956. While at Miami, he met the love of his life Marcia Harrison. They were married September 14, 1957 and shortly thereafter, Don was awarded his Navy Wings of Gold and went on to serve in the 6th Fleet flying from several aircraft carriers. While stationed in DC he received his MBA from George Washington University. Don left active duty but stayed in the Naval Reserve in a flying status retiring as a Commander.

He spent the remainder of working years in various managerial positions in manufacturing. Their marriage produced two sons and our family enjoyed many years on horse farms from Indiana to Pennsylvania. He retired to Full Circle Farm on Youngs Road in 1986 where he enjoyed Eventing Fox Hunting and Trail Riding the miles of trails on Walthour-Moss Foundation. In addition to horses, he liked to play Bridge and read. He was an animal lover and enjoyed the many dogs that seemed to find them. His dog Lucilo is spending her last years with Marcia and retiring at Just Right Farms.

Don was preceded in death by his parents and his young son Craig and is survived by his wife Marcia, his son Andrew and his brother Jim.
