Kasey Driggers Peckenpaugh, age 35, of Sanford, went to be with her lord and Savior on June 27, 2024, at UNC Hospital, surrounded by her family and Friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at 3pm at Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Doug Garner officiating. The family will receive family and friends immediately following the service at the home of Kasey Peckenpaugh on Peele Lane in Sanford. (The burial will be private at Pineywood Baptist Church Cemetery).
Kasey was born in Moore County to Lynn “Kris” Bates Driggers and the late Ted Driggers. Kasey followed in her late grandmother footsteps, by entering the nursing career after graduating from Union Pines High School. She excelled quickly earning her RN in nursing from Central Carolina Community College, going on to receiving BSN in nursing from University of Wilmington. Her achievements in life were numerous.
Kasey loved nursing and was thankful in helping others, she touched so many lives through her nursing career at Central Carolina Hospital and Womack Army Hospital.
She devoted her life to making moments and memories and life lessons with her two sons. The imprint she left on her two sons and everyone she loved will never fade. She was loving, kind, selfless, and made a lasting imprint on everyone she met with her charm, sarcastic jokes and her famous eye brow lifts. Anyone who knew, meet, and loved Kasey was impacted in positive way.
She is survived by her two sons, Carson and Carter Peckenpaugh, of Sanford, Her Mother, Lynn “Kris” Bates Driggers, and sister in-law Aleisa Warner of Cameron. Also, her many best friends, co-workers, anyone other lives she touched and healed
She was preceded in death by her brother, Ted Aaron Driggers, and her Father Ted Driggers, of Cameron and her Grandmother Betty Lynn Bates, of Carthage.
