Mr. Larry Dwight Campbell of Robbins passed away on Sunday, March 29th, 2020, in the FirstHealth Hospice House at the age of 54.
Larry was born in Richmond County on January 21st, 1966, to Charlie and Barbara Deaton Campbell. He served for many years as an officer with the North Carolina Department of Corrections in Troy. Larry was an exceptional painter and artist. One of Larry’s biggest hobbies was bargain shopping and finding good deals at local flea markets and yard sales. Larry was a friend to all that knew him and was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his father, Charlie.
Larry is survived by his wife, Pam; his daughters, Felicia Caviness (Cliff) of Star, Hannah Robertson (Thomas) of Franklinville; his son, Hunter Campbell of Robbins; his mother, Barbara Campbell; his sister, Elaine Needham (John) of Jackson Springs; his brother, Harold Campbell of Jackson Springs; two grandchildren, Charlie Caviness and Zayne Robertson.
A gathering of family and friends will be at the family’s home, 101 N. Rockingham Street, in Robbins between the hours of 2:00 pm and 8:00 pm from Wednesday, April 1st until Saturday, April 4th.
Care of the family is entrusted to Crumpler Funeral Home of Aberdeen.
